Dearest friends,
as President of the Honorable Jury of the 30th "Andrea Postacchini" International Violin Competition, I gladly express some of my thoughts.
An important Violin Competition such as the Postacchini, as well as being a major event that attracts violinists from all over the world to the city, elevates Fermo to point of stimulus and development of musical culture as well as international center for comparison between different Violin Schools and therefore precious guardian of Art in general.
Each of us present will always remember that there in the city of Fermo we meet every year for the Appointment that enriches those who participate and those who listen.
Humanity will always be enriched by the exchange and sharing of ideas and experiences and, where these peculiarities exist, especially young competitors will be increasingly more artists and more virtuous and will fortunately love more and more the art of playing violin and music.
I greet and thank all the Members of our Jury, all those who collaborated and the incredible will and professionalism of the Organizers, especially the two who are the great driving forces behind this level of excellence!!!!
