I was President of the Jury of the 26^th "Andrea Postacchini" International Violin Competition in May 2019. I remember that experience with great pleasure for the fruitful collaboration environment established between us members of the jury, for the good level of the participants and for the opportunity that I have had to personally illustrate to the public the work done by the jury I chaired. In my mind the memory of those intense days of meetings and music acquires, if possible, even greater prominence when compared with what would happen, a few months later, with the forced closures due to the Covid emergency.
